Snap Snap Snap

I have been given a tad positive feedback for my photos so I thought I'd continue the trend for one last blog post. The next one should have some interesting writing-ness.

I hope you are all wrapping up warm. LostBear will provide you with little bear gloves, scarfs and hats otherwise... well he would like to but finances are preventing this at the moment so, make yourself a hot chocolate in the meantime! Much love x

The snow is here...

As I'm sure all of you will know, snow is falling everywhere... and now turning into ice...

Maybe some photos to brighten up things...

Beauty + Music

I said in the last post there would be a surprise and well, I hope you like this =] Here is a new artist I have found called Joshua Fisher who I think makes such wonderful, relaxing music. Both I and LostBear think there is so much emotion, mystery and substance to his voice and sound. He also is quite pretty we think. Try lying down, and putting this on, letting your thoughts float into whatever they feel like...

Plus, here are some relaxing images of Dorset and the sea to keep with the calming theme =]

Pigeons on the Roof

These were taken from the loft of my house. I really like how simple they are but also hopefully, slightly artistic. I must also thank the pigeon for maintaining it's position on the arial for enough time to take these three photos.

A surprise for you next post =]

Dreams, the sky and bridges over train tracks...

I purchased a dreamcatcher recently and it's effects have been... well let's just say not quite as I expected. Somehow fellow friends have filtered themselves into my dreams and made them quite inappropriate. I shall not delve further but I thought I'd just make the issue aware to you all in case things get worse and you wonder what is happening.

Moving on, here are two photos from my collection which I thought were quite picturesque and not at all Christmassy, so as to give you a break from all my snowy pictures. Enjoy =]

The Beauty of Snow...

I thought I wouldn't say much in the post as I feel I should just give some photos of snow and ice, to draw you into the festiveness that's on its way. Or maybe just to appreciate the beauty of snow, even though it is such a simple and uncolourful thing.

Promising Eyes

I promised that the photo of LostBear's eyes would be up in this post and here it is. They are such small, simple eyes and yet I see a lot of wisdom in them, and innocence. It's odd how much you can get from a person just through their eyes and that this applies quite a lot to cuddly creatures like LostBear.

I also think he has such a charming expression. I hope he calms and warms your heart =]

On the subject of things being pretty and beautiful, I found this on the internet and thought it was lovely.

The long, long road of departure

A beautiful song, beautiful music and truth being spoken through every lyric. LostBear loves this song to relax and shy away from the world.

Departure - Mt. Desolation

LostBear's eye photo will come in this afternoon/evening I promise.

LostBear Philosophy 1: Togetherness

I will have to make this short as I am meant to be thinking but I thought I would begin writing about LostBear's philosophies. I think in many ways LostBear thinks how I would like to, with a simple and yet satisfying outlook on life...

The first philosophy is togetherness. LostBear loves bringing people together and giving each and every person, a little joy. This could be as simple as admiring the soft fur that forms his complexion to something like commenting how he is probably a very loving bear who will look after his owner always. From my experiencing in looking after him so far, he is wonderful. A quick glance in his direction can calm the storm of thoughts of my mind. He is such a small being, trying to bring so many people together. I can only think of one example of this which comes to mind immediately. Have a glance at this film trailer and I hope you feel that sense of togetherness that LostBear gives out as well.

We are Together

P.S. The photo of LostBear's eyes will be in the next post =]

Waiting for the snowflakes to fall...

LostBear is getting very cold and wishes that the weather would provide some sort of reward for putting up with it. Just a few snowflakes, drifting down from the dark, dark sky to stare at before getting tucked up into bed. I'm not sure what his perfect vision is, but last year I took this photo. I think LostBear would appreciate this until the weather decides to comply with out request =]

I apologise for the invading TV arial and brick wall... it was cold and my hands were shivering...

Somewhere Somewhere Somewhere

I don't have many words to say for this at the moment... but take a look at the trailer and I hope you enjoy it. This was presented to me by one of my friends who also is writing a blog =]

When I find some words to write about this, I shall update this post.

Somewhere

Bear Heart and Paper Heart

LostBear has a lot of love inside and out. To whoever his previous owner was, I'm sure he gave a lot of joy and love from his heart. Although I am somewhat older than that child would have been, I still feel a connection to LostBear and how although he is such a simple thing, he can evoke such an emotion in me and hopefully you the reader. Thinking about this made the idea of true love float into my head and in-turn a film I saw quite recently called 'Paper Heart'. A film which seems to be drama and documentary combined, it follows Charlyne, a young girl who doesn't believe in true love, as she travels across America with a film crew in search of the real meaning of true love and also, if she can ever be converted. Here is the trailer which I hope you enjoy and, decide that the film is worth a view =]

Faint Eyes

I realise now, the eyes of LostBear aren't actually visible in the photo I posted so I must apologies and promise that a photo of his eyes will be posted here very very soon. Meanwhile, I shall allow your mind to ponder over a photo of mine, seen through LostBear's eyes...

A Small Bear in a Big World

I suppose I should introduce to you who the LostBear is, or at least who one of them is. I myself, the author of this blog am one, but the name and character originated from an actual bear. Thankfully not an actual living breathing one as that would have probably been an unexpected encounter which I would rather forget. This bear though is one that until about 3 months ago, didn't have a home or an owner. It had been left and uncollected for over 2 months and well, I felt that it couldn't just be left to fend for itself. It needed a friend, a guider and someone to care for it. So I asked if I could be the person to provide LostBear this, and I was given permission. So, here I am, discussing this bear who essentially isn't much more than material and fluff. But to me, I think he has meaning and purpose about him. Maybe just for my life, but I hope that this can spread to everyone who reads this. Every post that appears in this blog will, in some, individual way, offer an insight into the world seen through the eyes of LostBear. You will also discover slowly, the connection I have with LostBear and how we share many similarities, although we differ in form greatly. So here is a photo of LostBear for you to admire, please take a moment to stare at his gentle, warming complexion and the small eyes that look out onto such a great big world...

Lines of Light

To begin this blog I thought I would post a few photos I have taken which I really like and I think are simple but maybe evoke some sort of emotion. They were taken in a car park in Peckham, so not somewhere amazing but I think there is something intriguing about them. Maybe how the light falls and is caught through the gap in the wall... this is just of the things that was seen through the eyes of a Lost Bear.
